"The Mistletoe Promise" by: Richard Paul Evans
Amazon says: "Elise Dutton dreads the arrival of another holiday season. Three years earlier, her husband cheated on her with her best friend, resulting in a bitter divorce that left her alone, broken, and distrustful.
Then, one November day, a stranger approaches Elise in the mall food court. Though she recognizes the man from her building, Elise has never formally met him. Tired of spending the holidays alone, the man offers her a proposition. For the next eight weeks—until the evening of December 24—he suggests that they pretend to be a couple. He draws up a contract with four rules:

1. No deep, probing personal questions
2. No drama
3. No telling anyone the truth about the relationship
4. The contract is void on Christmas Day

The lonely Elise surprises herself by agreeing to the idea. As the charade progresses, the safety of her fake relationship begins to mend her badly broken heart. But just as she begins to find joy again…

Deep inside Kimberly knows she’s at a junction in her life and it’s time to either fulfill her dream or let it go. The other reason she decides to attend the conference is because famed romance writer, H.T. Cowell, once the best selling romance writer in America, and the author whose books instilled in her the desire to be a writer, will be speaking in public for the first time in more than a decade.
In one of her breakout sessions Kimberly meets another aspiring writer, and one of the few men at the conferenc…

"Amazon" says: "Ember Walsh is a trusting soul with the quiet beauty of her late mother, who perished in a mysterious car crash when Ember was three. I found this book from Amazon for reading on my kindle ...it was an Amazon suggestion & a $1.99 October book deal with an email coupon they sent me, so I grabbed it up & was thoroughly happy that it was such a great read.

Here's one of my favorite lines from the book: Ember Walsh was describing "Lucien" who is one of Trace's figh…

"The Reluctant Groom" by: Debbie Macomber
Amazon says: "All Things Considered

The Witches by: Roald Dahl

"The Witches" by: Roald Dahl
Amazon says: "This is not a fairy tale. This is about real witches.
Grandmamma loves to tell about witches. Real witches are the most dangerous of all living creatures on earth. There's nothing they hate so much as children, and they work all kinds of terrifying spells to get rid of them. Her grandson listens closely to Grandmamma's stories—but nothing can prepare him for the day he comes face-to-face with The Grand High Witch herself!..."
My Thoughts: I remember reading this book as a kid. It was one book my mom had to be very iffy about because lots of parents didn't like that it was about witches. Now I didn't go to a religious school or anything but some parents get their panties up in a bunch over the silliest things. I think that folks should read what makes them happy, stirs their imaginations, makes them want to read & they love it! I LOVED THIS BOOK, & my Mom got over the witches being the content. She ha…

"Make Me Howl" by: Susan Shay
"Amazon" says: "When Chase Holliday's gaze first met mine, something tingled on my end. He was hot. Dark blue eyes, a square jaw, hair that was just a little too long, and he had this way of focusing that made me wonder if I should attack or run.
And I never run."
My Thoughts: Here is a post about my friends these amazing 2 authors: "Susan Shay" & "Susan M. Boyer" please check it out to see how my story with them all got started. I am waiting on Susan M. Boyer's new book "Lowcountry Bordello (A Liz Talbot Mystery Book 4)" is coming out this November 3rd, 2015. Super excited about that. I knew I wanted to read this book by Susan Shay, it was on the "to read list" & I just decided it was time. I had some free extra reading time why not. I have not read a book about werewolves in a while. (Let's see maybe Harry Potter or the Twilight series? We need more werewolf book p…
